User Guide- Access Request in Pims

1. Accessing Pims


1.1. Go to www.pims.akerbp.com and choose “request access” on the bottom left of the menu (see picture below).

1.2. Next step is to enter your email-address (as in the picture below).

1.2.1. If a user does not already exist, the next step is to fill in firstname and lastname like in the picture below.

1.3. Then choose which domain you are applying access for.

1.4. And finally choose the modules you need access for.

2. Login to Pims

When the approver grants access a user account in Pims will automatically be created. The user will then receive an e-mail confirming that the account is created.

Logging into Pims when the user account has been created:

Aker BP users: Users with Office 365 login choose “Login with Office 365” (see picture below). They will then directly be logged into Pims given that they are logged into their Office-account.

External users with Office 365 login: When their Pims user account has been created, they will shortly after receive an invitation to Azure B2B on their e-mail. They will then be able to log in through a link which is provided in the e-mail they receive.

External users with SQL login: Shortly after their user account has been created, they will receive a username and password via e-mail. Then they will choose “Login with other account” (see picture below) and use the username and password to log in.
